BOOTS — ZOOKEEPER ZOE

Boots Opticians challenged Red to address low uptake of children’s eye checks and help parents identify if their child was among one million in the UK with an undiagnosed eyesight issue.

Zookeeper Zoe, an award winning storybook with built-in eye checks was the perfect tool to address the problem – interactive, engaging and fun for parent and child.

Available in both digital and print formats, the campaign was conceived as PR and extended through advertising, social and in-store channels.

Hundreds of thousands of parents visited the site or picked up a copy of the book, with tens of thousands going on to book appointments for their children. This represents a 10.8% increase in eye checks at Boots Opticians YOY.
